The climate in Phuket is tropical monsoonal. While it is warm all year long, April to May and September to October are the most extreme months. Hottest Time in Phuket
During April and May, Phuket experiences its hottest weather, with temperatures ranging from 27°C to 36°C (80°F to 95°F). During this time, the humidity can be high, which can make the days seem even hotter. A few thundery showers offer a little respite from the heat. The Thai New Year festival of Songkran takes place in mid-April, during which you’re apt to get splashed with cold water. July, August, and June are popular tourist months. Best Time to Visit Phang Nga Bay
Phang Nga is best to visit during the “cool” season, between December and January. During this time, there are generally calm seas, little rainfall, and lots of blue skies. Humidity levels are low, and temperatures are comfortable. There are still a few diving opportunities in Racha Yai and Racha Noi during the low season, as the eastern coasts of these two islands are often protected and flat.
